Patient Support Nurse (CMA/LPN) - 80 hours per pay period

POSITION:                  Patient Support Nurse (CMA/LPN)
 
DEPARTMENT:           Clinic
 
HOURS:                       8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (80 hours per pay period/ Non-Exempt)

WAGE RANGE:           $25.49 - $33.42 Hourly
                                     
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Room patients, complete a variety of tasks including but not limited to injections, phone communication, patient education, vital signs, chart documentation, quality improvement initiatives and supply management. This position may assist a provider with procedures and treatments if needed. 
 
EDUCATION/TRAINING:

• High School diploma or equivalent. 


• Graduate of Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse program.


• Must be certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants or obtain an unrestricted Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license.
  

SKILL(S):

• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively and professionally with clients of all ages, co-workers, practitioners and administration.


• Professional telephone etiquette.


• Positive attitude.


• Ability to work well within a team.


• Good organizational skills.


• Detail oriented.


• Good time management skills.


• Computer skills and knowledge of EMR.

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous clinic nursing experience preferred.
