Patrol Security Officer - Multi-Site

Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is currently seeking a Part-Time Flex Patrol Officer to provide supplemental coverage across multiple locations throughout the Fort Collins area. This position supports ongoing staffing needs and does not follow a fixed weekly schedule. Shift availability may change depending on operational demands and site coverage requirements.
This opportunity is well-suited for individuals who are adaptable, dependable, and comfortable working independently while traveling between different assignments and property types.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols at assigned properties and designated coverage areas
• Perform routine interior and exterior inspections based on site requirements
• Observe suspicious activity, safety hazards, trespassing, or property damage
• Maintain a visible presence while on duty to support site security and deterrence efforts
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation
• Utilize company-issued software or mobile applications to track patrol activity
• Communicate regularly with dispatches, supervisors, or site contacts during shifts
• Follow all post instructions, company procedures, and client-specific expectations
• Respond appropriately to onsite concerns or incidents as directed

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history
• Reliable personal transportation
• Ability to safely operate a patrol vehicle during assigned shifts
• Basic computer or smartphone proficiency for reporting and communication tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including short-notice assignments when needed
• Reliable attendance and professional conduct

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in patrol, security, or related field operations
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong observation skills and situational awareness
• Experience handling reports, documentation, or mobile patrol tracking systems

Work Environment

• Assignments may vary between commercial, residential, or mixed-use properties
• Combination of driving, walking, and outdoor activity throughout shifts
• Work conditions may vary depending on weather, site activity, and operational needs
• Schedule flexibility required due to changing coverage demands
