Position: Payroll Specialist

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Payroll Specialist. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's payroll process. This includes accurately processing and recording employee time and attendance, calculating wages and benefits, and ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process and record employee time and attendance data

- Calculate wages and benefits based on company policies and procedures

- Ensure accurate and timely payment of wages to employees

- Maintain accurate records of employee information, including tax withholding, benefits, and deductions

- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve any payroll-related issues

- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management

- Stay updated on all federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations

- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll

- Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing

- Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations

- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other payroll software

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
