Position: Payroll Specialist

Position: (Remote)

SIKKY MANUFACTURING is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll in compliance with company policies and federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process payroll for all employees, including salary, hourly, and commission-based employees

- Review and verify timesheets, commissions, bonuses, and other payroll related data for accuracy

- Calculate and process employee deductions, such as taxes, benefits, and garnishments

- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations regarding payroll, taxes, and benefits

- Maintain accurate employee records and update changes in employment status, salary, and benefits

- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees on a timely basis

- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payroll

- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll data

- Generate payroll reports and assist with audits as needed

- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing

- Knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and regulations

- Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office applications

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Prior experience in manufacturing industry is a plus
