As a Payroll and HR Specialist, you’ll deliver high-impact accuracy across payroll and core HR support, ensuring employees are paid correctly and records remain audit-ready. This performance-driven role exists to protect compliance, data integrity, and timely reporting for leadership decision-making.
Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating payroll/HRIS records; entering and validating payroll data; preparing payroll summaries and management reports (earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, and benefits); reconciling discrepancies; supporting benefits administration; updating payroll procedures; and monitoring federal/state requirements and basic employment law.
Required qualifications/skills:
- 3+ years of payroll/HR experience
- Proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., Paycom)
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); strong data entry and report generation
- Knowledge of payroll regulations, confidentiality, and data protection
- Excellent communication, organization, teamwork, and multitasking
