Overview Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist/Coordinator with UKG HCM system payroll experience. This person will support the company’s payroll team and assist with payroll and attendance preparation and processing. This position requires a fundamental understanding of payroll and attendance administration. In this role, you work closely with the Human Resources and Accounting Teams to support all aspects of the Payroll process. Responsibilities Support Payroll Administrator with the processing of domestic and international Payroll (1,000+ employees) Assists with auditing employee payroll records to ensure accuracy of required and voluntary pay deductions Assists with companywide attendance administration (time-off requests, timesheets, leaves of absence tracking, etc.) Assists Payroll Administrator with liaisoning when integrating newly acquired companies Assists with domestic regulatory accounts setups (state unemployment, state disability, and state income tax withholding accounts) Provides support with the setup of local tax agencies in states that require withholding for local tax Assists with the oversight and processing of employment taxes, employee garnishments, tax levies, bankruptcies, and child support orders in accordance with the terms of the individual orders Assists with preparing reports to various governmental and other outside agencies regarding organization payment of various taxes, group insurance premiums, and related filings Responds to payroll inquiries and concerns in a timely manner Adheres to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value statement of the company and must respect confidentiality at all times due to the nature of the position Performs all other related duties assigned by management Assumes additional related responsibilities as required Qualifications To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. College education preferred 2+ years of Payroll and Attendance support experience Prior experience with Ultimate or Kronos (UKG) required Fundamental knowledge of payroll and attendance administration practices and procedures, including wage and hour laws and regulations Experience supporting large payroll processing for multi-state and/or multiple facilities preferred Strong communication skills and attention-to-detail; ability to write and verbally communicate in a clear and concise manner Ability to establish working relationships with all employees, management, and vendors Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)
