Payroll & HR Generalist

Sebastopol, CA - Onsite
Salary: $70,000–$90,000 DOE

Join a well-established consumer products company with a long-standing reputation for quality, sustainability, and innovation. We are seeking a Payroll & HR Generalist to oversee payroll operations while providing day-to-day human resources support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accurate, timely payroll using Paycom while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.


• Administer employee benefits, maintain HRIS records, manage timekeeping, and coordinate workers' compensation claims.


• Support onboarding, new hire orientation, employee records management, compliance reporting, and HR administrative functions.


• Reconcile payroll accounts, prepare payroll reports, assist Accounting with payroll-related transactions, and maintain accurate documentation.


• Respond to employee payroll and HR inquiries, partner with managers, and help improve payroll and HR processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience with knowledge of payroll laws and tax requirements.


• HR certification or related HR experience preferred.


• Experience with Paycom or another HRIS/payroll system.


• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.


• Fluent English/Spanish required

This is an onsite position based in Sebastopol, CA.
