Job Description - Pediatriac PRN 1099 Speech Language Pathologist
Arbor Therapy is seeking a PRN 1099 Speech-Language Pathologist to support our Glendale clinic team! In this flexible contractor role, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based speech and language services to children and young adults with a variety of communication, feeding, and developmental needs. Opportunities may include completing evaluations and assisting with make-up sessions based on clinic and client needs.

We are especially interested in speech-language pathologists with experience in pediatrics, early intervention, developmental disabilities, feeding disorders, and autism spectrum disorders.

Requirements
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through ASHA preferred
Minimum of 2 years of pediatric clinical experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain prior to start date
Article 9 Certification or ability to obtain prior to start date
Current CPR Certification or ability to obtain prior to start date
Current professional liability (malpractice) insurance meeting Arbor Therapy requirements
Ability to independently evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for pediatric clients
Experience providing speech-language therapy services to children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, speech sound disorders, language disorders, and related diagnoses
Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) assessment and intervention preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with families, caregivers, physicians, educators, and interdisciplinary team members
Ability to maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with company, state, payer, and regulatory requirements
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between clinic locations, if applicable
Ability to pass all required background checks and credentialing requirements
Independent Contractor Requirements
Must maintain own professional liability insurance.
Responsible for maintaining all required professional licenses, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
Must be eligible to work as an independent contractor under applicable state and federal regulations.
Ability to provide services during clinic hours based on client demand and contractor availability.
