Job Description - Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition - Southeast WI - Faculty

The Department of Pediatrics , Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition team. The position will provide general gastroenterology support for South Eastern Wisconsin location in Kenosha. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.

Position Highlights:
• Position responsibilities will include outpatient clinical evaluation and management of patients with pediatric gastrointestinal disease
• Inpatient attending and consultations
• Perform full range of gastrointestinal procedures
• Teaching of medical students, residents and fellows in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology.
• Engage in scholarly work within a growing academic division
• This position is associated with our regional site in Kenosha, with rotation to Milwaukee main campus.

Schedule:
• Full-time faculty position (1.0 / 0.9 cFTE)
• Salaried (Exempt)

Department/Division Highlights:
Our Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition program is ranked in the top 20 of US News and World Report and is recognized as one of the premier pediatric gastroenterology programs in the country for our clinical and research excellence. We have extensive subspecialty expertise with services provided throughout the North and Southeast regions of Wisconsin, as well as a referral base nationally. Our program is comprised of 25 faculty members, 8 APNP’s and 6 fellows who partner with a team of specialized nurse clinicians, dietitians, social workers, pediatric psychologists, and research staff.

Qualifications:
• MD or DO degree
• Board certification (or eligibility) in Pediatric Gastroenterology
• State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.
• Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist.
