  • Average Daily Volume: 0 -4 patients/day

    • 8 -10 emergent surgeries per year
  • Admissions: Yes
  • Rounding: Included
  • Phone Consults: Yes
  • Case Mix: Pediatric General Surgery (Elective & Emergent)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC
  • Licenses: VA
  • DEA: Active VA DEA
  • Certifications: BLS, PALS
  • Other Qualifications: COVID Vaccine
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with pediatric providers to evaluate and determine surgical necessity.
  • Manage and perform preoperative, operative, and postoperative surgical care.
  • Provide full -time clinic coverage Monday – Friday, 8a – 5p.
  • Cover night call from 8p – 8a Monday – Friday, and 24 -hour call on weekends.
  • Round on admitted patients and perform weekend surgical consults as needed.
