Patient Volume/Census: 1 -5 newborns, 0 -2 pediatric patients
Rounding: Yes, rounding on newborns and pediatric patients

FACILITY INFORMATION

Specialty Backup Available: Transfers to Abbott Northwestern Hospital for critically ill patients

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active MN license
Certifications: NRP
Experience: Pediatric Hospitalist experience; will accept FM with strong PEDS experience

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Round on an average of 1 -5 newborns and 0 -2 pediatric patients daily
Return to the hospital for urgent needs such as sick newborns, deliveries requiring neonatal resuscitation, and pediatric admissions
Coordinate transfers of critically ill newborns and pediatric patients to Abbott Northwestern Hospital
Provide neonatal resuscitation and stabilization as needed
Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure quality care
