Job Description - Pediatric Neuropsychologists

Job Posting: Pediatric Neuropsychologists for NESCA Newton

NESCA is one of the most well-established and highly respected neuropsychology practices in New England, with four office locations. While NESCA has been operating for 19 years, our founder and director, Dr. Ann Helmus, has been leading group practices and training neuropsychologists for nearly 30 years. Our multidisciplinary team of neuropsychologists, post-secondary transition specialists, executive functioning coaches, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, and educational consultants ensures that clients receive comprehensive, holistic care after their evaluations.

Position Overview We are seeking neuropsychologists who highly value learning, professional development, and want to be part of a collaborative community. NESCA offers competitive salaries and benefits, but we believe true career satisfaction comes from being part of a team and continuously honing your skills to achieve greater mastery. With all administrative tasks-including scoring and test tabulation-handled by our skilled administrative team, clinicians can fully dedicate themselves to client care and their professional growth. Clinicians enjoy control over their schedules, a private office, and the option for partial remote work. NESCA is committed to supporting clinicians in achieving work/life balance and establishing healthy self-care routines.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological/neurodevelopmental evaluations and consultations for children and adolescents.

  • Write clear and thorough neuropsychological assessment reports.

  • Participate in educational team meetings and school observations, as needed (training provided).

  • Attend weekly clinical case conferences (virtual).

  • Engage in bi-weekly seminars (virtual).

  • Testing protocols are scored and tabulated by psychometricians.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication and clinical writing skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and parents while collaborating with professionals in a close-knit community.

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to integrate large volumes of data and develop thoughtful treatment plans.

  • Passion for learning and a commitment to continuous professional growth.

Education and Experience We are looking for clinicians who are passionate about both the art and science of neuropsychological assessment.

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited institution.

  • Two-year post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology.

  • Massachusetts license-eligible or currently licensed in Massachusetts

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $150K-$250K, with additional compensation for consults, team meetings, and school observations (paid on W-2).

  • 401(k) with safe harbor and employer match.

  • Health insurance, group dental insurance, and short-term disability insurance

  • Flexible work environment, with partial remote work and control over your schedule.

  • Paid vacation.

  • Private office.

  • Malpractice insurance.

  • CEU's provided for NESCA seminars

NESCA is an equal-opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
