People Development Analyst (Hybrid)

The People Development Analyst will develop, administer, organize, and analyze the NYCM Wellness Program to promote wellness 365 days per year with activities designed to foster energy, happiness, and fulfillment. They will coordinate various employee engagement events and submit NYCM applications to state-wide and national awards programs. The People Development Analyst will manage the employee intranet.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop, administer, and organize the annual corporate-wide employee wellness program.


• Manage all daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual wellness program activities.


• Examine current wellness initiatives to suggest and implement changes to gain effectiveness, as well as research and develop new employee wellness initiatives.


• Provide recommendations and proposals to management regarding program improvement.


• Update and revitalize passport to wellness each year in order to promote employee engagement and wellness.


• Coordinate employee engagement events throughout the year, specifically December holiday events and summer of fun events.


• Maintain employee corporate intranet including the notification of breaking news items in daily


• Examine and research NYCM Wellness Program award programs to suggest programs with the most impact.


• Collaborate with the benefits team to determine wellness program ROI and program impact on healthcare usage and premiums.


• Develop and maintain internal reporting metrics for fitness center use, group fitness participation, passport to wellness participant rates, and other large datasets.


• Develop, create, and conduct employee surveys to extract feedback on various activities including trainings, lunch and learns, etc.


• Submit NYCM applications to state-wide and national awards programs.


• Build relationships and partnerships with vendors to support employee engagement events.


• Regularly communicate wellness activities to employees through the corporate intranet or email.


• Instruct and collaborate with divisional wellness advocates to support and ensure engagement and effectiveness of wellness events and programs.


• Work closely with Fitness Coordinator/Trainer, Brand and Culture team.

Requirements: 

• High school diploma, or equivalent, with related experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel.


• Ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets in order to find patterns, areas of improvement, program strengths, etc.


• Ability to create, analyze, and present reports.


• Organizational, time management, detail oriented, accurate, and problem-solving skills.


• Good written, oral, and listening communications skills.


• Ability to build power point presentations and speak publicly.


• Professional approach to working independently or in a team environment with a calm, effective ability to handle pressure.

Market Range: 5 / 37.5 hours per week / Hybrid - 2 days in office

Salary: $42,080 - $65,457
