Job Summary 

The People Operations Partner supports the Director, HR in delivering a wide range of human resources services and initiatives for the organization. This role will support the Director, HR in employee and manager inquiries and escalations.  

The People Operations Partner will support recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, training, employee relations, performance management, open enrollment, HRIS administration, and engagement initiatives.  

 

Duties & Responsibilities 

 

Employee Support & Relations 


  • Support the Director, HR for team member and manager HR inquiries; triage and escalate issues as needed. 



  • Provide guidance on HR policies, practices, and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and integrity. 



  • Support employee engagement, culture, and retention activities. 


Recruitment & Onboarding 


  • Support recruitment efforts by screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating hiring workflows with managers. 



  • Conduct and coordinate new hire onboarding and new employee orientation. 



  • Support offboarding processes, including exit interviews and transition coordination. 


HRIS, Reporting & Compliance 


  • Maintain accuracy of employee data in the HRIS (Paycor) and ensure data integrity across systems. 



  • Run, maintain, and distribute routine and ad-hoc HR reports. 



  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.  



  • Contribute to policy maintenance and updates, including handbook revisions. 


Performance Management & Coaching 


  • Support the annual performance evaluation process. 



  • Assist managers and team members with performance-related questions, documentation, and coaching needs. 



  • Help reinforce consistent and equitable performance practices across the organization. 


Benefits & Open Enrollment 


  • Assist with benefits-related inquiries throughout the year in collaboration with Lockton. 



  • Support the full Open Enrollment process, including employee communication, system reviews, troubleshooting, and coordination with brokers/vendors. 


Training & Communication 


  • Conduct training sessions for employees and managers as needed. 



  • Support internal communication efforts including the monthly kIOSk newsletter, Company Townhall and Division Townhall activities. 


 

Minimum Requirements 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 



  • 5+ years of experience in human resources in a generalist or people operations role. 



  • SHRM-CP certification preferred. 



  • Experience using HRIS platforms (Paycor preferred), including maintaining accurate data and generating reports. 



  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. 



  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust, maintain confidentiality, and partner effectively with employees at all levels. 



  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with discretion. 



  • Self-motivated, innovative, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. 



  • Excellent communication skills and ability to balance multiple priorities. 


 

Work Location & Travel 


  • Location: Lenexa, KS — fully in-office, 5 days per week. 



  • Travel: Travel to the Arkansas offices (Rogers and Fort Smith) every 3 weeks.
