Bay Area Hospital is looking for a Perm CRNA in the Anesthesia Services Department.  As the Medical Center for Oregon’s South Coast, Bay Area Hospital offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services.  We offer a great atmosphere and many growth opportunities for our employees.  



Job Description:

  • Full-time 80 hours per pay period

  • Shift as assigned (to be discussed at interview)

  • Level III trauma with high acuity seeks an additional CRNA to join our well established, hospital employed group. Bay Area Hospital, located in Coos Bay, Oregon, is the largest hospital on the Southern Coast of Oregon with a catchment area of over 320,000.

  • The CRNA practices independently according to his/her expertise, Oregon State statutes/regulations and the health district’s policies. This includes administering anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in accordance with Medical Staff bylaws.

  • Team: Physicians and CRNAs

  • CRNAs practice 100% independently

  • Solid, experienced collaborative group

  • 7 ORs, Endoscopy, Cath Lab, nearby ASC

  • Cases: Everything but heads and hearts, healthy peds only

  • Procedures include all types of blocks

  • Paid call, shared equitably, post-call day off.  Weekends are shared.

  • Not accepting Locums candidates

Job Requirements:

  • Board Certified CRNA (prior to start) - REQUIRED

  • Oregon license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED

  • 1+ year of employment experience as CRNA - REQUIRED​​​​​​​
