Family Medicine Physician Opportunity in Albuquerque, NM

Join a vibrant healthcare team in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as a full-time Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician! This position allows you to work in a professional and patient-centered environment at a renowned primary and pediatric care center, providing comprehensive family medical services from infants to retirees.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions


• Perform comprehensive physical examinations


• Develop individualized treatment plans


• Promote wellness and preventive care


• Coordinate specialty referrals when appropriate


• Order and interpret diagnostic testing


• Participate in quality improvement initiatives


• Supervise a team of Nurse Practitioners (NPs)


• Work within a value-based care model, outside of traditional fee-for-service

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine


• Experience in a full-spectrum family medicine practice


• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues


• Proficiency in using EMR documentation systems


• Ability to manage a caseload of 8-14 patients per day

License and Certification Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)


• DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration


• New Mexico medical license preferred, will consider applicants needing to obtain a NM license
