Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Location:

Manchester, CT. This is a fully on-site opportunity where you will work closely with producers and teammates in a collaborative office environment.

Note:

Candidates must have both personal lines and commercial lines insurance experience. We are seeking at least 2+ years of personal lines experience, at least 1+ year of commercial lines experience, and the ability to work fully on-site in Manchester, CT.

Job Description

• Manage and service a book consisting primarily of personal lines accounts, including auto, home, umbrella, renters, and specialty coverage.
• Service a smaller portfolio of commercial accounts, including BOP, general liability, commercial auto, property, and workers compensation.
• Handle renewals, endorsements, cancellations, policy changes, and other account servicing needs accurately and efficiently.
• Remarket accounts across multiple carriers to identify competitive coverage and pricing options.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, applications, and ACORD forms.
• Assist clients with coverage questions, billing issues, claims questions, and certificates of insurance.
• Conduct coverage reviews to identify gaps, retention opportunities, and appropriate cross sell opportunities.
• Partner with producers on client retention, account rounding, and new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate account documentation within the agency management system.
• Work directly with carrier underwriters and service teams to resolve account issues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience.
• 1+ year of commercial lines insurance experience.
• Strong understanding of personal lines coverages with working knowledge of commercial insurance.
• Excellent client service, communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work fully on-site in Manchester, CT.
• Connecticut Property and Casualty license preferred.
• Independent insurance agency experience preferred.
• Experience with Applied Epic, AMS360, HawkSoft, EZLynx, or a similar agency management system preferred.
