Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide exceptional in-home care services to our clients in Farmington Hills, MI. This role focuses on assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.


• Provide mobility assistance and help with transferring and positioning.


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ daily living experience.


• Adhere to care plans and follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or home health aide roles is an asset.


• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy.


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a plus.


• Ability to pass background checks.
