Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants in Clawson, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transferring safely.


• Provide companionship and support to enhance clients’ quality of life.


• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Monitor clients’ conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.


• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or related field is an asset but not required.


• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting clients.


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
