Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support and care to our clients in Wixom, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to appropriate personnel.


• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field is an asset.


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and family members.


• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain client confidentiality.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus but not required.


• Flexible availability to accommodate client schedules.
