Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Sterling Heights, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients, helping them with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed


• Support clients with mobility and transportation


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior


• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients


• Follow care plans and instructions given by healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field preferred but not required 


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with excellent communication skills


• Ability to follow instructions and work independently


• Valid driver’s license/ id card and reliable transportation 


• Background check clearance
