Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant to provide support and assistance to clients in Roseville, MI. This role involves helping individuals with their daily living activities to promote independence and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Provide mobility support and assist with transferring and positioning.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Monitor and report any changes in client condition or needs to supervisors.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or home health care is a plus.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.


• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.


• Ability to pass background checks.
