Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide essential in-home support to clients in Pontiac, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Support clients with mobility and transferring safely


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed


• Monitor and report any changes in client’s condition to supervisors or healthcare professionals


• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients


• Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare providers

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or related field is an asset


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families


• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Pontiac, MI


• Background check clearance
