Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide exceptional support and assistance to our clients in Wayne, MI. This role involves helping individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence, comfort, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Provide mobility assistance including transfers and walking support.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Assist with medication reminders and health monitoring.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Document care given and communicate any changes in client’s condition to supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or related field preferred but not required.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.


• Reliable and trustworthy with a genuine desire to help others.


• Must be able to pass background checks as required by the company.


• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
