Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Attendants in Deerfield, MI. In this role, you will provide essential personal care and assistance to clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Provide medication reminders and monitor clients’ health status.


• Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation as needed.


• Offer companionship and support to improve clients’ emotional well-being.


• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.

Requirements

• Prior experience in personal care or a related field is a plus.


• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor.


• Must be able to pass background checks.
