Pay: $100,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Location: Phoenix, AZ. This is a fully on-site, in-person opportunity where you will work closely with our attorneys and litigation support team.

Note: Candidates must have a J.D. from an accredited law school, active Arizona and California Bar licenses, and 1+ year of personal injury law experience.

Job Description

• Handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Manage cases from active litigation through settlement, arbitration, or trial.
• Take and defend depositions and represent clients in court, mediation, and arbitration.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, settlement agreements, and other persuasive legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance representatives.
• Communicate frequently and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Independently manage an active caseload while collaborating with attorneys and support staff.
• Gain first-chair and second-chair experience in arbitrations and jury trials.
• Work on matters involving auto accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, elder abuse, sexual abuse, and other serious personal injury claims.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Arizona Bar license.
• Active California State Bar license.
• 1+ year of personal injury law experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent client communication and courtroom advocacy abilities.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, cases, and deadlines.
• Hands-on litigation experience with discovery, depositions, motions, mediation, or trial preparation preferred.

• Salary Bands (Only if attorney role): 

• 1 to 2 years: $100K to $125K 
• 3 to 4 years: $125K to $150K 
• 5+ years: $150K to $180K (recruiter-created bands based on client range)
