Location: Pikesville, MD. This is an on-site position offering close collaboration with our attorneys and litigation team. Candidates must be able to commute reliably to our Pikesville office.

Note: Candidates must be active members of the Maryland Bar in good standing and have 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience, including trial experience.

Job Description

• Manage personal injury litigation matters and help move cases strategically toward successful resolution.
• Conduct legal research involving Maryland personal injury law, regulations, and relevant precedent.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other litigation documents.
• Prepare cases for depositions, hearings, negotiations, settlement discussions, and trial.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate effectively on their behalf.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties throughout the litigation process.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and help develop effective case strategies.
• Maintain organized case files, deadlines, and documentation across an active caseload.
• Stay current on developments in personal injury law and litigation practices.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Bar license in good standing.
• 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Trial and courtroom experience.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Effective negotiation, advocacy, and client communication skills.
• Strong organization and case management abilities.
