Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager

Swarts, Manning & Associates, with locations in Nevada, California, and Utah, is seeking applicants for Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager in Lehi, Utah. Job Description:

Manage customer needs for a well-established independent insurance agency by performing the following tasks:

• 
  Provide proactive day-to-day client service by anticipating client needs and responding to client questions and issues in a timely manner.


• 
  Make necessary contacts both inside and outside of the organization in order to obtain client requested information.


• 
  Review client exposures, loss experience, current coverages, and recommend appropriate products and services on an annual basis.


• 
  Create and present renewal proposals to existing clients.


• 
  Communicate clients' needs and binding instructions to carriers.


• 
  Implement and maintain a quality service plan ensuring the accuracy of binders, policies, certificates, and other relevant documents.


• 
  Manage client accounts receivables to ensure timely collection of premiums and payments to carriers.


• 
  Utilize the agency management system in an accurate and timely manner to enter and maintain all pertinent account information.


• 
  Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and complies with all internal policies and procedures.


• 
  Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

• 
  3 years Personal Lines Insurance experience required.


• 
  Experience with high net-worth clients


• 
  Holds appropriate P&C License. Professional designations a plus, e.g. CPCU, CIC, CISR etc.


• 
  AMS360 Experience preferred

  Strong active listening skills with the ability to ask thoughtful and probing questions in order to determine a client's needs. Must be detail oriented with effective follow-up skills.

  Must be highly proficient in the use of personal computers and supporting software in a Windows based environment, including MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience using customer or contact relationship management software strongly preferred, knowledge of AMS 360 is ideal.

  Demonstrated ability to function effectively as a team-oriented self-starter in a high visibility client environment.
