Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Novi, MI. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients, helping them with daily activities and enhancing their quality of life. This role requires empathy, reliability, and a strong commitment to client well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental and emotional well-being.


• Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Monitor and document client health and report any changes to healthcare professionals.


• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal support or home care is preferred but not required.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations.
