Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This position offers a competitive wage of $14.00 - $19.00 per hour, with payments made bi-weekly.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.


• Help clients manage their medications as directed.


• Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients.


• Follow care plans and instructions from supervisors and healthcare providers.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report client progress.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal support or caregiving preferred.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.


• Ability to pass background and reference checks.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
