Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Lake Angelus, MI. This role involves providing essential care and support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation


• Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort


• Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical and emotional conditions to the healthcare team


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, encouraging social interaction and engagement


• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role is a plus


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Compassionate, patient, and dependable


• Must pass background checks and meet all regulatory requirements
