Job Description - Pharmacist

Location: Hines, Illinois
Position Type: Full-time, First Shift (6:30 AM through 3:00 PM)
Qualifications:
- Licensed in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- Graduate of an American Council on Pharmaceutical Education accredited school or university.
- Licensed for controlled substances.
Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical verification of prescription orders, including legend, OTC, Medical Surgical (Med/Surg), and Controlled Substances.
- Assess drug orders and cross-match with medications at checking stations.
- Pre-verify medications loaded into specialized mechanical apparatus for dispensing.
- Verify and fill controlled substance orders (schedules III, IV, and V).
- Perform Quality Assurance functions and supervise Pharmacy Technicians.
- Dispense medications within corporate and regulatory guidelines for controlled substances.
