Job Summary

** Per diem position with varied hours

Reviews all medication orders for its appropriateness, dispenses, prepares, and compounds accurately all medication orders including pediatric, neonatal & chemotherapy preparations, counsel & advise patients,. Perform all necessary " Pyxis" tasks, Direct and Wholesaler ordering. Supervises the tasks carried out by the pharmacy technicians & messengers
 

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy Required
• 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience Preferred
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Computer usage and key boarding skills are important.
• Pharmacist - New York State Board of Pharmacy / registration renewal Required
