**Position Overview:**
We are looking for a licensed pharmacist who holds active licensure in multiple states, with Texas as the primary location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to providing top -notch patient care.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with state and federal regulations.
2. Verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, ensuring compliance with physician orders and patient safety.
3. Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and potential interactions.
4. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient therapy outcomes.
5. Oversee pharmacy operations, including inventory management, compounding, and adherence to safety protocols.
6. Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
7. Provide support and guidance to pharmacy technicians and other staff members.
8. Participate in quality assurance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
9. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
**Requirements:**
1. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
2. Active pharmacist licensure in Texas.
3. Multi -state licensure, with licenses in additional states preferred.
4. Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail or clinical pharmacy practice.
5. Strong knowledge of pharmacy law and regulations.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
