We are committed to providing high-quality, customized intravenous (IV) medications and sterile compounding services to long-term care facilities, ensuring the well-being of our patients. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated sterile Compounding Pharmacist/ IV Pharmacist to join our team.

SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Inventory Technician to support the efficient and accurate management of inventory in our pharmacy. As an Inventory Technician, you will be responsible for inventory receiving, management, returns, and quality control support within the pharmacy. This position works directly under the pharmacy Inventory Manager.

  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Predictable, reliable, and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Inventory Management:

• Process the receipt of deliveries so medications are distributed and distributed efficiently.

• Perform the Assigned Counts for the Inventory Recount Tool to maintain inventory control to ensure an accurate and adequate supply of medications and pharmaceutical supplies.

• Handle returns of medication from customers or internal systems so medication gets back on the shelves for production as quickly as reasonably possible.

• Implement best practices for proper storage, handling, and disposal of pharmaceutical products to maintain quality and safety standards.

• Help prepack team in production of non DOSIS related medication cards.

2. Regulatory Compliance

• Stay updated on industry regulations, including state and federal pharmacy laws, and ensure compliance in all fulfillment activities.

• Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies, such as the FDA and DEA.

  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 

The regular work schedule for this position is approximately 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday) and may require additional hours/overtime as necessary. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception, Ability to adjust focus and Ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, bend, and walk. 


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Current pharmacy technician license or relevant certifications preferred but not required (e.g., PTCB).

• Proven experience in pharmacy operations beneficial with at least 1-3 years relevant experience, but not required.

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and dispensing procedures.

• Familiarity with pharmacy management software and inventory control systems.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Able to lift over 50lbs

• Schedule/shift expectations are based on business needs but are anywhere between 7am-6pm, with weekends possible.
