Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Managed by the Pharmacy, Pharmacy Runner is responsible for transporting medications and related material to and from clinical departments of the hospital.

Runners also help to keep the Pharmacy clean and in orderly condition.

Runners transport medications approved for distribution to nursing units or clinical department either by hand carrying them or sending them by the pneumatic tube system.

Runners also collect medications and material that are placed in the Pharmacy return bin back to the Pharmacy.

High School Graduate

License Required

License Preferred

Certifications Required

Certifications Preferred
