PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting our pharmacists in dispensing medication and providing excellent customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently

- Process and fill prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all legal requirements

- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ordering and restocking as needed

- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner

- Maintain patient records and confidential information in compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Process insurance claims and assist customers with insurance-related questions and issues

- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions from patients and healthcare providers

- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining records

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred

- 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail or hospital setting

- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulations

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Proficient in computer and data entry skills

- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
