We are hiring for Phlebotomist position at Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center in Kodiak, AK!

Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Day Shift, Hours Per Week as needed.

Provides efficient, accurate and courteous service for PKIMC patients and residents of the Extended Care Facility.  Provides accurate and timely collection and receiving of specimens for all patients in accordance with medical center and laboratory policies and procedures and Federal/State regulations.

Required qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED


• Upon hire: National Phlebotomy Technician - National Organization Or


• Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification Or


• Upon hire: National Emergency Medical Technician - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians or,


• Upon hire: Alaska Emergency Medical Technician License - State of Alaska Department of Health 


• Within 30 days of hire: Provider BLS - American Heart Association 

Preferred qualifications:

• Coursework/Training and Completion of a phlebotomy accredited program preferred.


• 1 year of Phlebotomy experience.
