Job Description - Physical Therapist


Home Town Physical Therapy, a division of PT Partners Alaska, is looking for a full-time, self-motivated physical therapist who is dedicated to providing high quality patient centered care. Home Town Physical Therapy has an orthopedic and sports medicine focus, but we also treat a variety of other patients, conditions and services including aquatic therapy.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree from an accredited physical therapy program
  • Active Alaska Physical Therapy License (or eligible)
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedics (new grads welcome to apply)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Requires high-level visual and auditory acuity for participating in and monitoring patient care activities. Ability to move frequently throughout the Facility; ability to walk or stand at least 5 hours a day; occasional overhead and low reaching, demonstrates ability to lift and/or carry over 40 pounds on a regular basis; ability to push/pull over 50 pounds on a

regular basis; and ability to sit for long periods.
