Job Description - Physical Therapist

Adelphi is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide on -site school -based physical therapy services to students with disabilities at a school in Maryland. The ideal candidate will support K–12 students and/or Infant & Toddler populations with gross motor, mobility, positioning, accessibility, and functional movement needs.

Requirements:

• Active Maryland Physical Therapist license

• School -based pediatric PT experience strongly preferred

• Familiarity with IEPs and school -based service delivery

Responsibilities:

• Conduct PT evaluations and re -evaluations, including written reports and IEP goal support

• Provide direct individual and/or group PT services aligned with IEP goals

• Support gross motor development, mobility, postural stability, strength, and endurance

• Consult with school teams regarding positioning, accessibility, and adaptive equipment

• Assess and recommend assistive technology, wheelchairs, walkers, orthotics, and mobility devices

• Provide push -in and pull -out services as determined by the IEP team

• Any other duties as assigned within scope
