The Physical Therapist Assistant provides care as ordered by the physician, delegated by the Physical Therapist, follows policies/procedures and conditions of participation, and regularly reports to their supervisor. The incumbent facilitates the implementation of the plan of care as outlined by the physician and supervised by the Physical Therapist. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for all required documentation related to the care they provide and communicates pertinent information regarding the patient to all appropriate health care team members.\n\nFIDRNOCT \n \n\nQualifications\n\nEducation\n\nMinimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree \n \nAdditional requirements: \n\uf0a7 Type of degree: Associates or Bachelors - Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program. \n\uf0a7 Area of study or major: Physical Therapy Assistant \n \n\nLicensure/Certification/Registration\n\n\uf0a7 Current licensure to practice Physical Therapy Assistant in Ohio. \n\uf0a7 CPR Certification\n\nExperience\n\nMinimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience \nPrior job title or occupational experience: Clinical experience should have occurred within the last three years unless currently employed in home care. \nPreferred experience: One year clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
