Position Overview:
Kaeppel Consulting is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) for one of our clients’ in Hays, KS. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional rehabilitative care to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function. While experience in an inpatient rehab setting is preferred, we welcome all candidates eager to make a difference in patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment and Care Planning:
- Evaluate patients to identify movement dysfunctions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Set realistic and measurable goals to improve patients' physical function and quality of life.
Therapeutic Interventions:
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other evidence-based treatments.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercises, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Provide progress updates and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and therapy best practices.
Professional Development:
- Stay current with advances in physical therapy techniques and treatments.
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

Education:
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Licensure:
- Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the State of Kansas.
Certification:
- Current CPR certification (AHA or equivalent).
Experience:
- Experience in an inpatient rehab setting is preferred but not required.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
