Overview:

Due to growth, Direct Performance Physical Therapy is now hiring a Physical Therapist in Virginia Beach, VA. Full-time is preferred, 40 hours per week are available. Part-time candidates with 20 hours over 2 weekdays of availability will also be considered.

The ideal candidate should be personable with good communication skills.

New graduate Physical Therapists will receive comprehensive support and mentorship. The mentorship program includes weekly sessions, continuing education opportunities, and structured programming led by our mentorship program lead therapist.

Caseload / Patient Population:

The Physical Therapist hired will provide patient care in a dynamic outpatient orthopedic setting serving all ages, with a focus on general orthopedics, active adults, and athletes.

Full-time Physical Therapists should expect to treat 40 to 44 patients per week on average. Patient care is one-on-one with no aides or assistants. Initial evaluations are one hour, and treatment sessions are 40-45 minutes.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation for this full-time position is in the range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule:

The clinic operates Monday through Friday with no weekend or major holiday requirements.

Schedule flexibility is available. Common options include:

Four 10-hour days per week, five 8-hour days per week, or four 9-hour days plus one 4-hour Friday per week. Choose the schedule that works best for you.

You'll work with a supportive team that values work and life balance.

Job Requirements:

  • Eligible for VA state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

  • Prior outpatient ortho experience is preferred.

  • New grad PTs will be supported and mentored.

  • Full-time is preferred, 40 hours per week are available.

  • Part-time candidates with 20 hours over 2 weekdays of availability will also be considered.

  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
