Physical Therapist - Wound Care - Hillcrest

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• Licensed as a PT in the State of California or Pending CA PT License  (must be in hand by start)
• Current BLS Certificate from the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience:

• At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting
• Advanced Wound Care certification and prior experience

This is a full-time outpatient and inpatient wound care position at Scripps Mercy in Hillcrest.

Join our team as an Wound Care Physical Therapist in our Outpatient setting and acute care within our Inpatient Physical Therapy department at Scripps Mercy in Hillcrest. This energetic team functions in a very collaborative way, both within their team of experienced therapists and inter-disciplinarily with other teams as well. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and develop their skills while maintaining a patient-centered approach to the care they provide.   

The Physical Therapist provides Physical Therapy evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education as prescribed by qualified medical practitioner in accordance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 requirements.
