Reporting to the Chief of Infectious Disease, the Specialist will be part of a department with responsibilities that include:

•         Inpatient consultations at either Hartford Hospital, The Hospital of Central Connecticut, MidState Medical Center, Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Backus Hospital, Saint Vincent’s Medical Center, Manchester Hospital.

•         Wound Care and Antimicrobial stewardship

•         Assist with activities of Infection Prevention and the hospital epidemiology programs

•        Active Hospitalist program to care for inpatients

•         Shared call with other ID physicians

BC/BE Infectious Disease Physician licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of CT
