Pipe Fitter Helper

We are seeking a Marine Pipe Fitter Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of piping systems on marine vessels. This is also a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a shipyard and learn Pipe Fitting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of piping systems on marine vessels
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings as needed
• Measure and cut pipes to required lengths
• Assist with the fitting and welding of pipes
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Marine Pipe Fitter Helper or similar role
• Knowledge of piping systems and their components
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Basic math skills- Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment
