As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Ice Machine Technician to support our Planned Maintenance Program and help strengthen our market presence in MA, RI, and CT.

The PM Ice Machine Technician will play a key role in the Planned Maintenance Program by conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on ice machines and related equipment. This position will work closely with the Parts Department, PM R&D Manager, and Service Technicians to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction. The technician will perform field service work across client locations, maintaining a high level of technical expertise and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for ice machines and refrigeration equipment as part of the Planned Maintenance Program.
• Conduct diagnostics and repairs on ice machines, including electrical, plumbing, gas, and steam systems (as needed).
• Collaborate with the Parts Department to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of necessary parts for maintenance and repairs.
• Drive to customer locations (windshield time) across MA, RI, and CT to perform scheduled maintenance and service visits.
• Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service, ensuring their needs are met.
• Maintain detailed service reports, including work completed and parts used, in line with company policies.
• Work closely with the Planned Maintenance Team to ensure service goals and customer expectations are met.
• Provide input on equipment improvement, automation services, and design modifications when necessary.

Planned Maintenance Technician - Ice Machines Requirements:

• Ability to work an 8-hour workday
• Additionally, candidates should be prepared for windshield time, which involves driving between client locations to perform service visits.
• Works well in teams "will be working with parts department"
• Prior experience troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing ice machine or similar kitchen refrigeration equipment
• Excellent customer service skills
• High School diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license
• Self Driven
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in gas, electric, plumbing, and/or steam repairs (a plus)
• 2-3 years' experience in refrigeration or ice machine equipment repair
• Strong organizational skills and a team-centric attitude
