Purpose & Scope: This crucial role will be responsible for planning and optimizing a detailed production schedule which ensures alignment of customer demands, inventory levels, and production capacity.

Essential Duties May Include:

· Schedule 30+ plastic injection molding machines while minimizing downtime and maximizing machine utilization

· Coordinating with other departments to allocate the resources, materials, equipment, and personnel needed to effectively run production 

· Anticipate and mitigate potential issues or shortages that may interrupt production 

· Oversee the inventory of raw materials and finished goods to ensure supply levels are adequate and available for upcoming scheduled runs 

· Identify opportunities for improvement regarding efficiency, cost reduction, and downtime

· Ensure timely delivery of all customer goods and proactively communicate any potential delays that may occur

Requirements

 · Previous experience planning and scheduling plastic injection molding machines and labor

· Professional written and verbal communication

· Strong computer skills and knowledge of IQMS

· Meticulous attention to detail
