Plant EHS Sustanability Manager

What they do:

Own safety, environmental compliance, and sustainability for a manufacturing plant.

Main responsibilities:

• Reduce injuries and safety risks


• Handle OSHA/EPA compliance


• Lead incident investigations


• Manage LOTO, forklift, confined space, PPE, emergency response, etc.


• Handle environmental reporting, waste, emissions, and permits


• Deliver safety training


• Maintain EHS records, plans, and audits


• Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and HR


• Improve safety culture on the plant floor


• Track and close corrective actions

What they want:

• 7+ years of EHS experience


• Manufacturing experience


• Strong OSHA/environmental compliance knowledge


• Experience building and running EHS programs


• Comfortable training employees and working on the plant floor


• Degree preferred, not necessarily required


• CSP preferred
