Plant Finance Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:  

• Performs month-end close activities. 

• Develops annual budgets and forecasts for the plant.  

• Analyzes financial performance against budget and provides variance analysis.  

• Maintains accurate inventory reporting.  

• Conducts profitability analysis for various product lines and initiatives.  

• Monitors and controls plant operating expenses.  

• Identifies cost-saving opportunities and drives cost optimization initiatives.  

• Partners with Department leads to analyze production costs and provides recommendations for efficiency improvements.  

• Ensures accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with company policies and GAAP standards.  

• Maintains plant control environment.  

• Coordinates with auditors for annual financial audits.  

• Stays updated with regulatory requirements and ensures compliance.  

• Provides financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.  

• Collaborates with other departments to evaluate investment opportunities and projects.  

• Assesses financial risks and develops risk mitigation strategies.  

• Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Qualifications & Experience:  

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field ; Master's degree preferred.  

• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.  

• Minimum of 8 years proven experience in Accounting/Finance , preferably in a manufacturing or food industry setting.  

• Strong knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.  

• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).  

• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.  

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. 

Travel Requirements:
